This is people telling their story of death, how it happened that day, back in that day.


As I get sent to heaven, I walk around and listen to many people telling stories about how they got here, I was walking and then this Japanese man caught my attention….

It was another cold morning I was staring at the sun and just standing,
My friends weren’t understanding,
Why a pane was flying above in the troposphere,
Why was a bomber flying over here,
That shit was weird, but nun of us suspected that our death was near,

I knew something was wrong,

This rippling death beam was headed my way,

I was fast asleep when I heard gun shots down stairs…

Walked down the stairs, saw German soldiers pulling my mother’s hair,
My dad on the table, unable, to move to get free, I hear my mother scream out “Grab your brother and flee”,
I woke my brother snuck up the attic, took a moment to think about another day that’s been tragic,
Made it to the roof only to hear more gun shots coming from inside,
But all I was thinking to myself was “I gotta go somewhere and hide”,
I couldn’t decide, how to explain this to my younger sibling,
How to tell him about our parent’s killing,
Our chance or survival was one in a million,
Running down the street with my bother in my arms,
I was prepared to risk my life to keep him out of harm,
Nearly made it to an under ground bunker when German soldiers were headed my way,
The bullets pieced through both of us and now from up here you can my grave.

I see people in blue clothing looking at me shit they were grabbing their weapons,
I should’ve seen where I was stepping, now I rested for a second I reckoned,
That I was goin to live I was goin to survive, but what I didn’t realize,
Is that my mistake was to join a gang in the first place,
Shit these crips seen the red bandana on my face,
Now I got cornered in an alley they looked at me all were pointing,
I drenched my pants wet as a fresh painted painting,
Heard the chamber release the lead rushing towards my head coming at my way,
Now from above here you can see my grave.

shit, why are there so many close battles on this site....
I'm going with trill on this one because I felt that his standpoint was more original, thought 13th's was cool too. I liked how trill ended all three verses with "and from up here you can see my grave". That was a wicked cool, probably what won it for him in my mind. I liked how different each death was too.
Part of the problem with 13th's verse was that the main action took place in the writing at the end rather than in the rhyme, though the rhyme was fucked up, the whole incinerating your parents thing was insane. I enjoyed both a lot.
