''New York's hottest annual summer concert popped off last night with an estimated 60,000 plus fans in attendance for Hot 97's Summer Jam X at Giants Stadium. A little rain couldn't stop the fans from coming out to see Eminem, 50 Cent, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Lil' Kim, Nelly, Fabolous, Sean Paul, Clipse plus quite a few surprise guests.

From Lil' Kim's tig-ol'-bitties that kept popping out during her performance to Eminem smashing his Source Award on stage, the evening was packed with plenty of surprises. 50 Cent opened his set with a PSA on "How To Identify A beeyatch Ass ni99a" which showed images of Irv Gotti and Ja Rule singing in the rain and crying from past videos 'Rainy Days' and 'I Cry'. The crowd loved that but they didn't love Nelly who was booed for most of his set. And even though Nas sat on stage on a throne, the crowd booed the King Of New York when he performed Ether. But they loved him when he brought on KRS-One who performed his classics "South Bronx" and "The Bridge Is Over."''
