I came to this conclution going to the Eminem concert this past weekend here in Detroit at Ford Field, Em's only concert he's gonna do this year in the States so you know it was a big deal. I never felt so out of place at what was souposed to be a hip-hop concert in my life, and I been to many. Once I got in and took a look at the crowd I saw 45 year old white men, 13 year old white girls along with they moms from sqeeky clean suburbia U.S.A, fucking 65 year old media poeple there trying to critiqe the concert, and everybody BUT who you would see at a hip-hop concert was the majority of the 45,000. I'm like WTF!! is going on!, now I know you don't sell 8 million records form just hip-hop fans, but damn that was a real culture shock for me.........

^^Naw I ain't mad, just a little shocked and distirbed about where the music is going. I'm not to much tripping with white kats being there, as long as they respect the game and all...... and shit it's a Em concert so I expect alot of white folks (I mean com'mon lets be real) but I'm talking about the majority of people who really ain't into hip-hop, just there becasue it was the big event, something to see what the big fuss was about..you know not there for the music just there for the circus yaknow, I mean they had fuckin'..Dateline and 20/20 there and shit, becasue they had all the media trucks outside...I'm talking about shit like that.

I am mad it wasn't no black females there becasue, It's wasn't nobody for me to hook up with after the concert.............

It's more than just whites being there becasue like a said before that's how niggas go platinum is from white folks coppin our shit, so I'm over that. But I was shocked to see alot of the crowd wasn't your standerd hip-hop demographic...I mean if you took a pic of the crowd you cound't tell if it was for Eminem of Bruce Springstien

a couple years ago i went to see cypress hill around dc or bmore (cant remember) and i found out when i got there that they were on tour with two white rock bands. there was one black guy (and it wasnt me). to make it worse cypress hill wasnt usin muggs they were usin these white heavy metal fucks who couldnt play for shit, only musician was bobo's son (the drummer).

there was a circle of people in the middle pushing each other a round and jumping up and down. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? now im only like 25% white but WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE PEOPLE THINKING???

^^^^I was putting that shit out there to see what other people thought about was it good or bad, I thinks it's both. I got no problem with hip-hop growing into bigger biz.....but the problem with that is alot of poeple that got no buisness being involved with the artform, be it music, or recoerd labels, A&R's or whatever that start to have they hand in it and bring down the overall intergity of the culture..so in a way yhea I'm kinda selfish with this hip-hop because it's something we created and I don't wanna see it go the way of rock-n-roll and jazz, other shit we created thats been saturated. It's already happening now but I jst see it getting worse in my opinion. I'm not dissing whites, I'm just saying that some people listen to hip-hop, while I'm living in hip-hop. All this shit that you think is glorified and exagerated is real cuz I'm in it, while to the meainstream it's just 'entertainment'...you feel what I'm sayin'.
