Just wanting to know what earns props around here when it comes to battlin. I know wins do. But are there any characteristics you guys especially like seein?

I have noticed that calling someone gay, faggot etc, Lots of cursing really boost your rating. Not even to be sarcastic, also having a hulk like vocabulary can bu you as fast as it helps you. Also if you are interested in winning, battle people that rap with a similar style to you. That way the people voting can't be swayed if the opinions of the person you are battling are closer to the voters.

Instead of good lyrics, and individuality, and ill-skill-will wit da words (which is how you get respect in real life). You got the exact opposite in text. HELL yeah that shit is from text battlin. That "spit nice and respect will come" is BULLSHIT. They've incorporated politics in this shit. If they don't like you (personally), then they'll vote against you (never mind if you better). They got cliques of IM buddy's that go behind the scenes and say "hey, come vote for me right quick".

I love Hip-Hop, and I couldn't comprise it for anything, even if the other cat is better than me, even if I don't like the MF, and he spit somethin to make my eyebrows raise, I'll vote for him. Yo jus always spit 100 %,try and battle vets but if it's a newb only thing u can do is win,so do it with style,also do audio coz txt is cool but most shit done in text is too complicated for audio or doesn't sound real when u spit,so write always as if your rappin it or jus keystyle.Also jus be urself and don't let tha haters get to ya,yo theres always gonna be haters whether it be beef or jealousy or jus ignorence so jus keep it real and be true to urself and the culture.

Ok west I agree to a certain degree, but where your wrong is spittin like you rhymin. When I did that they said it was basic, when the other cat had two lines per bar. I experimented by loading up my text bars with bull shit that was impossible to rhyme to a real beat. I made it look just like theirs, and added some gay references. They told me I elevated...wtf?

What we need is real MC's in there votin, especially audio cats, so we can teach'em that that shit is wrong. We like, washed our hands of text, and they're going in the wrong direction.

Shit I remember they had this garbage gay dude beatin me, and I remember thinkin' where are the real people at.

They're tellin newbies to do like this or do like that, ad it's wrong.

A good way to tell if your somewhat nice is to compare your self to proffesional MC's. Listen to their words, listen to the structure, and delivery, and compare it to your ish. Theres not one MC in the rap industry that talks about gay shit in every verse they spit!

The occasional "you a faggot" is cool, but anything further than that would make you suspect....
