Though poetry is more an art within itself than a competition. The competition can (and usually does) help elevate. And Gege has shown again why she is such a talented writer.

Thanks to all who entered. You all showed great ability. It was a fairly tight tournament all the way through.

Oh, and of course props to runner up Sand. It was a close call. Both were excellent pieces.
