This another piece I wrote soon after 9/11 I submit with all respects to race culture and religion, please do not take it in the wrong way. Just going off the emotion I had brewing inside me, as if I was the country talking for myself.

Free at last

This War you plot on me
Will not set Islam free

Senseless killing of innocent people that day
All are equal until Judgment Day

The animosity directed towards me
Only infuriates me, can’t you see

Your people, my people cannot flee
The injustice you have brought upon we

I will wage the devastations of War
Against all those who wish me to be no more

I accept all without regard to race, culture or religion
It was your inaction that has lead to my decision

Time has come for all those who seek
Destruction of me, I will not turn the other cheek

A lethal arsenal is at my disposal
I wish not, but you have refused my proposal

Deliver all terrorists within your boarders
For they are madmen not worthy of martyrs

I can take you asleep at night
My wings capable of supersonic flight

Eyes that see in the darkest of night
Raining strategic justice, showcasing my might

Listen, is that the wings of a bat, as you sit unaware of imminent attack
It’s useless looking for me I cannot be tracked

As I am gone and past
The sky lights up with anti-aircraft blasts

In your memory I will leave a pain that forever lasts
I hear the sweet voice of your women’s shrouded pasts

I was liking this whole peice man

from beginning to the end

I lost sumone in the trade centers and feel exactly the same

I lost my DAD and UNCLE

So i was really feelin the anger in sum of those lines

First of all you have my condolences for your tradgic loss. I can't feel your pain, but I do feel for you deeply. I am ver sorry. I will do my very best in protecting this country and contributing to bringing those involved to justice. I am an engineer working on Radar System intergration on Air Force programs, currently assinged to Reconnaissance missions. That's about all I can say, but I do feel your loss. Thanks for your reply and know my prayers are with you and everyone else who lost someone or something on that day. Stay up.

Are you not agreeing to war making your disapproval of the terrorist was methods a hipocritical oxymoron?
Everything is replied to with 'lethal arsenals', what about peace? Isn't that the whole on which we should base a struggle? Yes it is hard to reply to violence with peace, but Jesus gave himself so we could accept petty sins, not to use him as an excuse for larger ones.

Again i say Jesus, Martin Luther even Gandhi, they found ways through violence with peace, and all prevailed, if even only a small way, if we all prevail a small way, will we not wholly prevail, is that not the way rather than 'lethal arsenal's'?

Oh, and not worthy of martyrs? Jesus was palestinian, or let's be general and say Arabic as Palestine was not recoginzed then......

Deceit you're intellec is appearant, but you're applying it to something fabricated in emotion. Emotion and Logic are too involved to compare one with the other in this piece. When I mentioned not worthy of Martyrs', I was refering to thier killing of innocense and actrocites towards humanity, not thier origin or cultural influence. I am not singleing out a race or creed, but denouncing thier action's... Is that too involved for your intellect? I am sure it's not, but your allowing your emotons to superceede your logic. Just a caution, we can bump intellect's all day, but true understanding comes with mastering reason. Something to grow by... I will reiterate my respect for your beliefs, but we both know not all is the way it's seems to us the first time...We need to give things a second look and or evaluation, before we taste our own feet...

Just a question, when you say 'their' it seems as if it imply's the race or culture as a whole: 'their killing, not of their origin'.
I am aware this also sparked emotion, and you should not have to be so careful with words as to jump upon that as a mistake, but i just hope you do not believe the whole culture or people to be wrong in any way, simply their form of war: terrorism.

And my use of the word 'their' implying the single few who agree with terrible politics; modern day Hitler's and Stalin, and even Nixon's, not the people as they are nothing but innocent ad the world is...

Thier is in reference to those involved with the strike against the towers... You are reading to far into things, sounds like there is a personal conflict there, you might be torn on the inside....For whatever reason...

TOPIC i can really feel ur anger but catch no hate in ur piece it was very good, u staid on topic didnt overkill it but limited it to stay at a level were it got clearly across
WORDPLAYi loved it it all flowed together and the vocab wasnt simple at all it was excellent every word brought the reader more into it as a whole
OVERALL i give it a 9/10
CRITISIM to me tho the lines did seem a lil short (but thas jus prolly me) it had a lil on the light side of complexity but it was all good (have to give ya some critisism

You see now this is the response I was looking for, you're correct a deep piece desrves a good argument, everything is open for interpetation. THis piece really thouched me since both of my parents and my ex-husband are in the army. Now that all of this "war on terroism" stuff is going down I really scared of losing someone I know. This piece speaks for millions of Americans who felt and probably still do feel that way after the events of September 11th.
