MAn i just got through listening to the radio.. who do i hear.... obie trice. I listened to him for about 2 mins... his ryhme scheme is horrible, lyrics are horrible... he is just horrible.. but he is not the first. they have alot of garbage rappers that are famous getting signed to big labels... making radio/video songs. i cant understand it. i come on here and can HONESTLY say ive heard shit on here better then half the stuff that comes on the radio... not to mention the other underground nigga's out there...

I have to agree. rap industries are puttin out new names like the mass production of sunfires and most the new names have just about the same quality of those piece of shit cars. like hell I'll watch MTV or whatever one day and see videos from bands that I know of then watch it again like a week later and there's like 30 new bands (exaggerating but u peeps know what I mean) so all the music industries are just puttin out shit that sells, it ain't about the music or the style no more just bout the fuckin money. like look at the pop music fad. britney spears puts out one video then bout a year later what do u get, 98 degrees, snow, backstreet boys, christina agualiera (however u fuckin spell it) and so on and it's the same shit with rap nowadays unless it's underground cuz underground artists it seems are the only ppl that are left able to put out somethin decently ill and at least their all original unlike these mainstream assholes that just keep sayin the same shit they've been sayin fo the last 5 or more years.

hey, obie is tight, its just that got some teeth was not that strong. i saw him rap on rap city tha bassment with big tig and he had a really tight rhyme. his other songs are tight. just got some teeth is his weakest but ill in shit hits the fan.

and yes the radio is getting crappy. they are outplaying some songs like get low, right thurr, 50 cent songs but i like those songs. radio is outplaying this shit and they should put some underground on.

Got some teeth was a weak single, but he has heaps of better songs on his album, what makes it a good album is its got a type of song for everyone. If you want raw, powerful lyrics check out "average man" or "we all die someday", if you want a deep song, check out "dont come down" or "never forget ya", if you want a club song take a look at "cheers" or "bad bitch"...
