Listen - i'm lovin where RB's goin right now...The End, Kalvin, All you mods are doin a fuckin good job of puttin this site up where it should be...you know - c section, jay cyphe, opey and chrit - i got nothin but love for you kats... yall are gettin this site back together where it should be - but here's the problem

first of off - i feel like newbies are runnin this site - on the real - i see mods who have been here since like August 2003 (shiznit) and since - but does that bitch know how much potential this site have?

the point is - is that RB is forgettin its roots...

Recently ive noticed some crazy ass newbie invasion - and im not hatin on newbies cuz thats where the future of RB is - but newbies here are gettin mod positions, startin crews, all that bullshit...

I mean - when i started at RB - I got my ass put into place - no one voted for me unless i put a hot ass verse - and that was my best memory of RB - Earning My Respect[B]...

It took me 4 battles to get my respect at RB - and to be honest

goin 0-4 made it worth it to get [B] Real heads here to respect me....

but now it feels like newbies are fuckin takin over this site

so what the fuck?

lets get a vet forumn goin

i mean muthafuckas who have been here for a whiile and know how to improve RB...

alot of mods here who have been here for so short dont know shit -

^^^ Werd...i feel you for sure son. Ive been wit rb since Shadow was the head mod...."DEKAPATATE MINDZ", " MC2" and mad other cats was on rapbattle.com a long ass time ago. I used to go as "SHINE365" and then after all the major crashes this site had I kinda fell off and quit comin to this site 4awile....but now ive changed my name and am back and RB is really tiight. Compared to other sites theirs mad active heads here who are always uppin they skillz and are really reppin RB hard 4real. Im happy that RB is still up and goin strong and hopefully like you said when i gain my respect back on this site I can keep the RB tradition goin strong nah mean!!! 1

This has been discussed many times. So this is closed. There aren't enough vets to keep it going. If you really wanna try to get this going PM End.

Wow, you've been on the site 3 months longer. Does that make you deserve more respect? No. She is a poetry and open mic mod because she actually gives feedback and does her job. As for other "newbie" mods.. Calico IS Gonzo.. aka Martinelli.. aka Crook Ed. Someone well respected and someone who ISN'T a n00b.. and didn't just register in September. The few mods that we DO have with an early registration date, are doing a great job. So, please find something else to concern yourself with and let myself and the mods worry about the direction we are taking RB.

This site 'could' help people get in the game...maybe not mainstream but commercialism sucks anyway.....well apart from the bitches and money and bling...lol

Think about it, find a record company (many i kno would be down)
To release a compilation of RB artists.....ya know the dope ones (you know who they are)
People would hear it...hopefully like it and the compilation could become a regular thing.....and all the dope artists get the recognition they deserve........

Skill has nothing to do with being a Vet. A Vet is someone ONLINE thats can depict the differences in a battle or someone who can bring new perspectives on topics or what not. I think a vet is someone who can go into a persons battle thread they've known since they been online and giving an honest vote even if its against them. But watchin a Jae Cyph go into someones "first audio" thread and sayin "Wow, your wak" isnt being anything close to a Vet. Even if your the best on the fuckin site.
.So Skill has nothing to do with being a Vet. And the reason people think the older ones are vets is because most cats that been here for awhile has probably already grown out of the "beef with everyone, the world is mine" MODE and they just give honest feedback etc. . .
