i'm was born and raised in new york city.

been here all my life. traveled once to orlando, in florida.. but it was one of those high class hotels.. where theres wasn't, basically shit around, but the hotel itself.

all i know is NY. but recently.. somethings have come up, and i'm thinking of moving to california. the only thing i know about cali, is the hoods.. and the burbs. and to tell you the truth, i don't want to expierience any.

people in cali seem rather stank, and its all about flossing with them.and the racist factor, is beyond digestive.

don't know. it just seems like an unpleasant place to live... but maybe i will be moving there.

Actually, -something- must be wrong with it. There are lots of kids I know who's familys lived in Cali who come up here in Oregon because they don't like it there.

Anyway, I got a friend down in Sacramento and he likes it there. Mostly because the girls are fucking sluts. To bad he's not into girls. (Hm, you're not into guys are you? Cause I can hook you up) But Sacramento is actually literally the most racially diverse city in America.

Los Angeles aint no good though. Seriously. The Today show did a study and apparantly New York study scored great for having friendly people, whereas Los Angelos scored rather low. Their fucking jerkoffs. For real.

On the other hand... there is a town in California called Weed. In fact, I've seen a sign once on the road. In one direction it pointed colledge, in the other direction it pointed to Weed. Hmm... those tough choices kids have to make these days.

Then again there is also a town there called Zzyzzx. Also, South California is full of hillbillys. And San Franciso is full of homosexuals. But it's also home to Eddie Brock, AKA Venom. Personally, I'd stay in Chinatown.

Actually no wait, personally I'd like to stay in Oregon. No sales tax and you don't have to pump your own gas. Plus there are thwice as many trees than people.

Yo i feel you exactly son!!! Im a born and raised New Yorker nah mean......I lived in Brooklyn my whole life and like you thats all i know about. But i actually recently moved out to California(the bay area) and like you i was hesitant to move out here. But now that ive been out here a month its not really that bad. California is a whole differnet vibe that ny son. People here are more lay'd back and chill here. You'de know cuz like in N.Y people is straiight ass holes on the street, they bump into you, rush here rush their....but over here its not like that at all. Its really liberate out here. People are really big into the arts and dance and shit. The cities are ALOT smaller than NYC as a whole but after awile you get used to it. And the best part of livin out here IS NO FUCKING SNOW AND FREEZING DAYS HAHAHAHA!!!! Ide think you would like it out here in Cali......but you'll def miss home alot(I no I do) but if you want a change in lifestyle and just a good experience then move out here, but Idk. Another thing you'll miss is them corner stores and the new mix tapes comin out every week. The only down fall of livin out here is that you'll kind of fall of wit whats hot in N.Y wich is ass but IDK, I like it out here. Plus going to college out here is mad cheap too.....like $10.00 a credit. So yea, move out here, stay a few months and give it a chance...you like it here stay you dont move back to NY. people aint fake in cali they are just diffrent from what you do in new york.

one of my friends lives in LA i went over there two summers ago, i seen nothing but mexicans and blacks no racist shit as far as i could tell. i didnt see any stuck up rich people either.

everyone i was parting with was the pachuco type, even the black guys dressed like pachucos, i guess it just depends what part you go to.

you might need some new stuff to wear though cause you going to be hot in the shit you wear in new york.

Ok... im from Detroit... and moved out to Cali not too long ago... I didnt want to cause i loved it where i lived you know. But when i got to CAli i found that it is so much better here than on the east coast, the weather is so much better, and i must say i love the babes in bikinis at the beaches. There isnt much racism here unless you go to like some hick town out in the cuts somewhere... you should be alright dawg. just have some damn fun

I know how you feel. Livin in the L.E.S is like livin in the most ghettoest of ghettos. It might work for you, because hell, we don't live in the preetiest. I don't live in manhattan, but I know mad people down in harlem and Washington Heights. Movin to Cali might help, but There ain't never Natural Disasters here,lol. Don't Take my advice, I don't live in Cali, I don't know anything but New York and Dominican Republic, where my grandparents live. Take it how you want it, but places are unique, if you got the dough, try and see if you can stay in Cali for a few days, and see how you like it. You don't want the move to be a big ass mistake either. Just my advice

I lived in Cali for 2 years, it aint that bad there, just keep to yaself for a week and then ease your way into society. Surprisingly lost of people battle there, on street coners and shit, only at night though.

You should move here to Campbellsville KY...there's like no rap scene here...so it'd be nice to have someone who actually cares that I'm dope. For real though...I'm a lonely bastard in the rap scene...a lot of people like rap down here, but it's like Nelly and shit like that. Cali seems cool with the decent weather and such... If I were to do grad school, I wouldn't mind heading out there. But I don't think I could settle down there.. Wouldn't want to deal with the earthquakes, floods, mudslides, wildfires, high housing prices, or the traffic.

NYC is a cool place to visit, but I'm not a city person. If I was to pick up right now and move anywhere in the US, I'd be tempted to move out to Colorado. Some of the pictures of Colorado that are out there are amazing.
