technicly its not based on a ture story, its based on aguy in wisconsin named ed gein who went grave robbing and went crazy sometimes and killed ppl and wore their skin, its based on the sameguy hannibal lecter is based on jus a little twist added to it, and the original was made in like 197? and they wouldnt make a remake ok a real killing jus a few yrs after it happend

the movie wasnt based on a true story it was just a bite off of serial killer ed gain.yall should look him up on the web,now thats a sick mother fucker.he's what psycho,leatherface and some other scary movies were based on.something about dudes from wisconsin choppin and eating people,im never goin there(jeffrey dahmer and ed gain)anyways the movie had no plot really but it makes you jump and its pretty grotesque.i thought it was worth the money,but whatever
