extended metaphor:
doobie = weed
herb = weed, herb
die on the shelf = like groceries: herbs.

meter/flow:
13 syllables each line,
iambic feet on the ends.

rhyming:
both masculine (one syllable) and feminine (2 syllable).
both exact rhymes and slant rhymes.

To me I think you both need a little work but I vote this to Origin by a hair he just had more about catch than catch had about him and he some what had simular punchez than catch but like I said slightly better!

my vote go's to origin. catch no hate or nuttin but ur verses were a bit to plain, u gotta come a bit harder with ur punches and extend ur lines a lil more and try to use some more wordplay. origin took this with a lil bit better punches but needs improvement, u used a lil bit of worplay but I thought it was lacking from ur verse a bit, both of u's need to use some better multi's to but close battle for the both of u's but my vote go's to origin. peace.
