Since its my first post I thought Id post something half decent.
I am just wondering if anyone here is from the uk...
looks to me like the only hip hop scene we got is mostly crap, but I get the impression its growing slowly.
what's everyones opinion on this? english voice doesnt seem right to me...

If you dont already listen to some jehst, braintax, taskforce, klashnekoff. Trust me none of them are crap.I dont think theres anything wrong with the english voice, Braintax has got a strong accent and he can still flow well.

its not so much the people, but i think unless you got a specific accent then you will sound like a prick. imagine someone from north england, scottland trying to rap, or worse, someone who talks like prince charles. thats pretty much my point.

i download most of the audio battles on rb and i was lookin thru my folder last night and i saw a track from this cat named foztee. his voice is tight for a uk rapper.

Accent doesn't really matter, its all in the delivery

Who cares about accent? maybe you think scottish sounds weird, but some people think that african americans sound weird... all pointless, all that matters in term of sound is the flow... accent just makes it original so u dont sound like all other rappers

but check Westwood too coz his show (on Radio 1) is ill he always got the exclusives... uppin!!!

2.There are many UNDERRATED UK mc's.
3.Underrated coz there mostly underground.

i think it has got alot to do with delivery, and yeah, londoners do seem to have good voices in general, birmingham accent sounds pretty good too. I surpose it all comes down to tallent anyway...
