From what I have seen there are some different styles on this site, here a few

Evolve has a style that I call the Two and a half line length. His lines are, ironically, two lines and a little more per bar. I have seen this from other people, but most noticeably Chrit has used it and not disgraces it.

Avalon and 13th both often use 3 dot style
They usually… come off… something like this…

Sureal and Auspicious both have similar styles, the Short Multi. Sureal’s lines usually number at around 6 to 8 words while Aus bring that word count much higher. My favorite aspect about that style is the flow…the flow is great

each page holds 25 posts...

Count the amount of FULL pages "X"
Add the number of extra posts on the last page "Y"

(X*25)+Y = my level of bordom at night

flow is so important. i wish voters could realize that

i use a combo of the two me thinks

usually i use line this long......

so thats the short bar thingamajig

and i use ... every 2 lines or so to seperate my punchlines from the rest

so I have a short period!

i vary it up. why always write in the same structure.


yes...i'm new. but i been writtin for years.

n i also think finishes can drag out a bit longer. cus ya don't have to keep the flow going in order ta jump the next line at the same tempo.

just my opinion.

Meh.. I Always Switch My Style.. I Think I Found Which One I'm Stickin With. My Style Has A Lot Of Flow, Lines Are Pretty Even, And An Occasional Multi.. But I Don't Force Em. My Set Up Punches Flow Smooth. Every Once In a While I'll Do An Evolve Bar Style...

i dont use alot of multis but i think i have a nice flow.

when ever i actually do open mics everyone says i have a nice flow.
