Stereotyping Hip Hop?
Im in a chat, and suddenly people start a hip hop conversation. I tell them how you should see Hip Hop as, but as I know all of you know, 2Pac groupies run wild. So here is a conversation b/w me and some other girl, and how she tells me A couple of things.

Tupac IS a real rapper, and he was one of the best ones to date, him and Biggie used to run shit, now that they are dead there haven't been many real rappers. Hip hop and Rap are two very different things. Get Low is an example of Hip Hop, and a Tupac song is rap. I hate when people sit there and hate on Tupac for no reason at all, like he wasn't the best rapper in ages. His lyrics, music, his bizzare behavior all add up to why he was so great. Name a rapper better than Tupac, and don't give me an underground artist, give me somebody who has established themselves..?

they are entitled to whatever they think, but they shouldnt force their opinion on you or say they are right and you are wrong.. i personally enjoy 2pac... but im not about to start attacking other ppl cos they think nas or biggie or canibus are the best... if u get me... so in a way you were both kinda wrong... if she enjoys 2pac, let her enjoy 2pac... if you dont like his rapping, just dont listen to it, dont try and force other ppl to stop.. maybe they enjoy

^ i understand that, but you also attacked them, by saying 2pac wasnt real hip-hop etc... if they enjoy it, just leave them alone and let them listen to whatever music they want to... just because an artist is commercial doesnt mean they arent real hip-hop... for example, i hate songs like how do u want it and all about u, but i listen to 2 of amerikaz most wanted, got my mind made up, ambitionz as a ridah, young black male, god bless the dead.. all nice songs by 2pac and they arent that commercialized... an example of totally unreal hip hop would be ja rule or nelly, where they sing in their own songs, never have any meaningful or raw tracks, always do sell out collabs with pop singers, have overproduced beats, and suck with lyrics... 2pac doesnt qualify as that...
