Merry Christmas? fuck that.. another holiday on my shit list
But before you judge me, let me tell you why it is this ^^ everything is twisted.. the true meaning is non-existant with all the greed & gifts.. Jesus has turned up missing who gave us the rite to replace Christ w/ a tree & lights & a fat guy in a red suit who uses reigndeer for flight why is it alright, to believe in that ^^ but not in the truth & only look up to the heavens when Santa is on the roof who said it was ok to display this behavior to the youth leaving them thinking the almighty is a bearded man in boots Look.. don't think im a religious freak, thats not the case i just hate that people forget why we have this holiday Originally.. it was a way to celebrate the date of his birth but somewhere along the way we played with its worth it has been turned.. into a marketing plan targetting buyers to purchase material items that make our wallets lighter the entire economy is dudes in business suits w/ ties trying to get a strangle hold on every cent by tieing our budgets tighter but rather than struggle & fight em.. we go shopping its been happening for so long & showing no signs of stopping so fuck it ...go get your "Merry Christmas" on & popping hopping from house to house to see how many presents you get & never let HIS presence effect your ability to collect then just forget to remember your believes & what you have faith in.... TEAR THE WRAPPING PAPER & say "O MY GOD!!" when you think your GIFTS are amazing Im Not Saying Im Better Than This... I Love To Get Gifts Just Like The Rest Of You.. I Just Think We Need To Celebrate The Real Meaning More Than The Materialistic Aspect Of Christmas... Bah Humbug You Fucks!!!! |

it was a nice piece..followed the planned outline from the go n flowed well in most parts,i jus found myself driftin n having to pick the flow up again sumtimes but you redeamed it by vast amount of effort,storyline n vocab which made the piece very nice to read..

Great flow... Good message. Very similar to a piece I'm dropping today. Ya coulda chilled on the anger some, but I guess if ya feeling it, flow with it. Decent vocab, not much wordplay, if any. Straight forward rant about what X-mas has become... Cool. 8.25/10 |

This wasnt bad .. flow came off on a couple of occasions and
threw me slightly .. imagery was decent, writers voice wasnt as strong as id of liked it to of been. Really grasp hold of what you want to say and then go from there .. work with it .. don't sacrifice the content for a lack of rhyming words .. if you can't get one to fit - try rewording it or re-phrasing the sentence .. cause thats what i felt held you back with this piece, wording. Also .. you seemed to stick to the same rhyming pattern, i'd of liked you to switch up up occasionally, just something to .. keep the reader interested .. hold their attention more .. like i said, the flow to this wasn't bad, but with more multi's and a few internals, you could liven this piece up easily .. all in all it wasn't bad though, a decent read .. a nice topic to drop to actually .. although, i hated all the ^^ and stuff, dont do that in open mics man .. its pointless. So much stuff that most people try to turn away from believin' in and such ... And it's so true that soooo many people don't know why we even have christmas anymore ... Kinda similar to Easter ... Nah mean? And it's dope to see someone write about it ... So U get props off the jump for that alone ... Now onto the literal aspect of the piece ... I felt U did a dope job writin' this ... Nice Nice piece...Like Cam had said, your flow fell off in a few places, the verse seemed to lose alot of interest. You had a unique topic toward Christmas, and what it is about, but if you used different vocabulary and some different wording to maybe improve on the imagery, this would've been a great piece. To me, that is what held it back, all your basics were there, but you seemed to lose my interest and you seemed to lose focus of the topic. Remember that you can't lose the big picture of the topic, by throwing in a few words to rhyme, because then that takes off the piece. Good Drop.

Evolve slick writing i feel you one hundred percent.The whole us-of-a is becoming one nation against god. Its alright that the school system posts up pictures of a fat red suited pagan god other wise known as fucking santa clause. but you get picketed if you put up a copy of the ten commandments. And the supreme court signs that no longer can children say one nation under god in the pledge of allegience. To thank god on national television has become profanity on awards shows but you have fucking homos and graphic sex scenes on the next channel. shits gone to far never lose your anger on this topic because its one we should all b pissed off about. sorry im off my soap box now. plz check out my pz wisdom(posted it awhile ago might b buried) or a newer post second thoughts. Excuse me for not typing much Evolve, but I have a splint and a tetnis shot from an accident in my shop class. Anyways, this piece was dope as fuck. I loved it, and being a faithful Christian I agree 150% with what you were saying. Multis were nice, flow was consistent, vocab isn't very important in my opinion but you used the right words where you needed it. The topic was nice to work with and it really drew my attention. I only wish it was a bit longer, but you really covered all the nessecary issues revolving around the topic. Overall this was an ill drop my man, and I'd love to collab with you sometime.
