I know a lot of you are tired of hearing about the Canibus/Eminem beef, but...

We all knew Canibus was smart, but it seems like he is a higher form of intelligence than the UFO’s he once rapped about. Anyway, soon as we plead for him to reply to Eminem’s “Canib*tch” diss… we got word that he is about to drop a 12 minute diss straight at his Caucasian counter-brother. The song is rumored to be on the rapper’s next untitled collection of songs. We don’t choose sides, but we heard Bis takes it to Eminem’s chest dissing his style, albums and life in general.

Also, word is Bis ain’t going to The Roc, but he might be looking for a new recording home. We don’t know, its only a rumor. Roc-A-Rumor, y’all!

Eminem diss could have been way better. I liked his verse that said "punch me in the chest make my shoulders touch." Because thats what Canibus said in his song with Common. LL Cool J did a lot better battlin Canibus. But I think if Canibus and Eminem stop their beef shady/aftermath should sign Canibus since he dont want to be with Roccafella. Plus he clearly deserves to be signed with a good company. I cant wait till Canibus releases the 12 minute diss track. If he Rips Eminem badly that might actually help Em. Because maybe that will get him back to his style in SLim Shady Lp and Mashall Mathers Lp instead of the Eminem Show.

how can you say sage didn't innovate on eminem's ideas you say you much rather listen to any of sage's albums than infinite but infinite was made in a basement ten years ago. When most underground emcees were making gangsta rap and still talkin guns. Eminem did innovate as far as punchline lyric based hip hop over the mainstream guns and money.



eminem's battle against juice was the final round of the lyricolympics in juice's hometown. I've heard that battle a million times and i'd say eminem came alot nicer as far as lyrically. The only thing wak about eminem battles is that he doesn't freestyle 90% of it. But the fact that he made it to the finals of the lyric olympics long before the pop icon he is now should give him all the battle and underground credibility a rapper could have.


Also if you notice eminem doesn't "call out" anyone. he replies to about 1 in 50 diss tracks made about him and only when there's enough popular interest in the diss on him that he feels obligated. Eminem has gotten to a level in his career where replying to disses steals from his artisitic goals. He's trying to prove himself as more than a fad and show he has the talent to provide lasting power. Canibus has always struggled to become a mainstream artist his albums were just too shitty for him to make it. So y'all still like him basically based solely on the fact he wasn't creative enough to make it?

Ill Explicit does have some very valid points though. When you think back, Eminem was kinda a innovator. What was ruling in 1996? Bad Boy and Death Row = Puff Daddy and Dre = gangsta crap. Eminem was prolly one of the few that took clever punchlines and great lyricism at a high standard. Even though Infinite wasn't incredibly original, it has almost unmatched lyricism. I don't know many rappers that can write like this:

Besides Vanilla Ice and Eyedea, I don't know many other ESTABLISHED white rappers that started before 1996, when Eminem released his first official record - this means it's likely Eminem has been battling since as early as 1992.
