pun's flow was pure fire...many rappers would kill to have a single song with that flow...he carried it through every cd sand song...a potent multied rapidfire flow is the shit..think about vintaeg jy z and the black album

No, flow wise he was nice .. lyrically he was nothing great. My opinion, you don't have to agree.

what makes him "that great" is how he came thru for all puerto rican or even latin rappers in the industry...never did a latin rapper equaled or even overpowered a black emcee as much as pun did in his time, even with fat joe doing his thing before pun did, pun's cunning knowledge and integrity not to mention his i dont give a fuck attitude and muli/flow he made it #1 in the charts and gave terror squad the names they have today, now we have huge number of latin rappers, but pun was the one to set the milestone in the commercial music industry

i for one respect him and his belief's not only because i myself am puerto rican, but for the fact he was the "george washington" for most of us hispanics to stand up in a black crowd and flow

I For One Probably Own Almost Every Song Ever Preformed By Big Pun. All Of His Albums Along With The Rest Of The Terror Squad Members. Big Pun Had Some Crazy...Crazy...Crazy Multi's. Been Listening To Him For The Longest Time. He Is Definatly One Of The Most Influencial Rappers Of Hip Hop. Who Else Before Him Would Spit Like He Did? Even Now...Not Alot Can Spit Like That. And He Could Rap About Anything...Even Rap About Females And Still Keep It Gangsta. He Was The Reason Terror Squad Is Where It Is Now. Everyone Looks Past Him Because He Was Overweight. I Think Thats The Stupidest Shit Ever. He May Not Be The Best...But He Has Definatly Influenced Alot In Hip Hop. And His First Album "Capital Punishment" Had Some Dope Beats...And Some Crazy Lyrics. That Whole Album Was Sick. But Ya...Thats Just My Opinion.

PUN weather great or not will always be the voice of a latin nation before him very fiew latin lyricists were noticed beatnuts funkdoobiest cypresshille had little to know shine and KURIOUS was vertually unknown but when PUNcame out her revived several od their careers including FAT JOES who after jealous mans envy basically fell off.
what i say PUN was real and an icon.he spoke thetruth made it appealing to a blak and white crowd and repped his culture without flaw.he was gifted in his delivery playing to any beat given and if you listen to the lyrics you can feel the realness he carried.
not many will give him props because the market isnt a reality its an alternate exsistance....mobb deep talks about thug life but prodigy bumb ass dont even look like he can curl a 22. pun was known before he was a rapper for his affiliations with ALMIGHTY LATIN KING AND QUEEN NATION. he was reality and what he said he lived with a past as evidence.
i hate thug rap but PUN made me listen most rappers cant even raise my eyebrow.......i am puretorican cuban and brazilian and he impacted all 3 countries...his death was mourned and murols were set in his honor in 3 countries not to mention new york no rapper got the international respect not big not pac.not saying he was better then them but he was respected more world wide.
