Looping tracks For sampled beats?
well i heard it was easy and well im not learning fast enough on my own so how do you do this??

u know... sampling really can't be taught. but... much rather understood. every loop is different. u usually have to be able to hear it, and if u have a good program. u can see a visual. still doesn't help u much tho. that's why beats are so hot. the way people sample. an easy way to try is using the fruity slicer. i do dat sometimes, on samples dat are too cluttered to see in the sample editor. u in FL, lemme know where. i'm in orlando. if u close, we can prolly collab. I got a tutorial I was putting together to help cats learn how to sample... Its actually easier than I thought. haha. I'll post it later today... to see my sampled beats check out:
www.soundclick.com/samepageproductions specifically "Licence to kill" & "On Blast" (2 anthem style tracks), "Angel" (Kanye-style love jam), and "Out of reach" (underground feel sad beat). word. 1 |
Definitely what Black Magik said.

In addition to knowing (or discovering) the BPM, you can also loop a sample by the number of beats in FL Studio. Check the "Oh Boy" tutorial on the site in my sig for a video walkthru.
