Name one time youve done something thats truely pointless..

Lots of times... Well for one, all the times ive meditated.

I once had a conversation with the way a strip of toilet paper fell and a sound that my bathroom blinds made.

I bounce a tennis ball around my place because I feel like it.

I lie down out of nowhere.

I sit outside.

I spin around on my office chair.

Are you saying that that stuff has a point? Its just playing around..

In that one sentence, you both imply it has no point and then give it a point.

Playing around is pointless, its not a point. It doesnt matter, its meaningless, useless.

If its something you do.. There is a reason why your brain elected to do that thing, possibly from past experience on things to do while wasting time. Everything has a point man.... Just like everything in the universe is ordered............... ... ... .. ..... .. . ..

This is the defintion of pointless as im referring to it:

I do a lot of pointless things. And I dont do them to waste time, they aren't a waste of time.

It be relevant to the list of things you did during a certain period of time?

The meaning is that these are the activities your mind has decided to partake in during a certain time..

And seeing as though you wouldnt do this stuff if you didnt decide to do it and take action towards doing it............Youve forced yourself..

But I didnt decide to do it... I just did it.

Its not like I go "hmm, yes, I think in a few minutes I might wander around aimlessly and lie down on the floor. Followed by a short session of talking with an inanimate object or bouncing a ball."

Havent you ever just gone, bang, and felt like doing something then done it? For no reason at all? Absolutely no reasoning behind the decision, doing something completely illogical?

Aside from the fact that for the reason you can define those activities as 'playing around', gives it a meaning..

Nah.. I dont really ever do things unless I have a reason...

Playing around has no meaning... Its pointless.
