Why do feel that we're supposed to love our relatives more...
 

Than strangers?

I've always believed that we should be willing to help anyone if we can, related or not. Why is it, for example, do we "love" our uncle or aunt more than a perfect stranger? Why do we love our sister more than the lady down the street? I feel I belong to God's family, the universe. I realize that we're closer to our family because that's who raised us. But, had we not been born to them, we would have been born to someone!!!


I say that we have no obligation to LOVE someone we're related to genetically more than a stranger. We are all connected.
