Calling all DOPE audio heads...who still post here for whatever reason
It's clear this site is dead. It's nothing more than a gossip spot. Furthermore, if you're a good audio head, exactly why do you still post here? The people who listen to your tracks can't help you elevate. And, the ones who sit back and hate have shit to offer rap...point blank.
One of 3 options needs to happen: 1. Strobe sell this site and let a new admin. revive it. 2. The audio vets boycott the bullshit on this site and revive the Audio on it. 3. Everyone STFU and move on. Personally, I'd like to see option 2 happen. Let's face the facts. No one on this site can help the audio vets elevate anymore. Posting on this site is merely a formality. People like myself, Tito, Tony, Enygma, et. al. have mastered their styles. Let's have a vet tourney...or some kind of audio revival... Bring back the awards section and fuckin can the garbage Mimesis tried to implement. Let the true artists on this site be the focal point... Do a spotlight on a different emcee every other week... Let the RV radio be run by people who aren't haters. All these things could revive this site... Ignore the bullshit by some people who talk shit WITH NO TALENT TO SPEAK OF... They don't drop music...They don't write...They don't do poems...They don't do graphics... At best, they're geeked out kids who love rap, but don't know shit about music.PERIOD. Close the fuckin LL down for a month and replace it with an Audio revival section. Otherwise, this site is fucking garbage. I guess I stick around in hopes that I'll catch fire like I did back in 2005 when the audio heads RAN THIS SITE. Now, people like 2v dominate this site...i.e., MORONS. Get it together or get da fuck out. I also find it funny that some kids from this site tried to come over to another site and act dumb... thing is, those sites aren't ran OR full of morons...So, the haters got shut da fuck down. I feel you Q. I used to only fuck with this site and this site alone. I've now found myself posting more on other sites and you wouldn't believe the responses I'd get from my tracks and shit. Its pretty fuckin ridiculous how little support you get from this site. On RM just about every other week someone is dropping a new mixtape or something and their threads are filled with people showing support, buying up all their shit. This is just an example of some shit I've been seeing.....
Also, I gotta agree with you saying that the Audio section should be the focal point on here. Once again, on RM, their audio lounge is the most popular section with over 250 people checkin the shit out at any given time. Just some thoughts :thumbup: |

He's saying that we mastered our styles meaning that we have our own style, we're not still searching for one. We all know what our style is and are working on the little things to tweak our songs making them just that much better. We are all far from perfect, but mastering something and being perfect at it are two different things man. If you take two masters of something and put them up against each other, one would win therefore making the other not perfect. Does this mean he hasn't mastered anything? No.....
