Branch out to other areas of hip-hop..
 

Yo... What do you guys think of branchin out to the other elements of hip hop... Like there could be a forum on each element.. DJing/beatboxing, BBoying, graff... But rap would still be the main thing??

Ive seen sites that started out as bboy sites or whatever but now theyre all elements... I think it could work... cept wed have to get strobe on side -_- and find good, knowledgable mods... ..

My views on this.

There is no stopping you from doing these sorts of battles in the currant system.
Beat boxing could be done in audio battles or songs.
DJing can be done in the audio section.
Graffing battles can be done with the text system, just by setting the rules to:

Write this word: ... ?
No crew votes
No Hate
Etc Etc.
Then kids would judge.

However the problem a lot of people would find is that kids that have no idea what their talking about would come in and vote and a lot of beef would be started.

Branching out is a good idea though. I think that it just has to be more well known that these sort of things can be done. Possibly some new options when starting threads in Front Lines or EFL so you can choose what type of battle you want to create. Each with their own set of rules.

yeah but it needs to be seperate... say somebody comes to the site to beatbox... How are they gonna vote on a rap battle?? maybe a forum for each or something... ID be happy to write tutorials and start relevant topics in them to keep them alive if they were made..

ill idea, a B-Boy forum won't work though, you want to talk go to the lyricist lounge, most people on this board isn't good enuff. Beatbox is good though

i don't think we need a forum for each of these, we do need tuitorials set up for these, and battle arenas

i could write all the beatboxing tutorials, and bboy tutorials..

maybe just ONE forum for all of the other elements?? and an other elements bitch slapped... and then a battle forum for each element.. ya know?
