U vote to battle...good Idea#3
 

yo in the past 2 weeks...I voted in over 15 battles and I leave the shit on my sig and make a request to get honest votes in atleast one of them....I haven't gotten shit back yet...I got like four battles just sitting there twittling they thumbs and shit just waiting for mu fuckas to vote.

so Im proposing that when a rapper wants to set up a battle...him and the opponent must leave 1 link each of a battle they voted on or the thread will be closed...its the only way I see that we get more votes for battles that are being slept on.

i think its aa good idea, but thats what battle credits are, but i still think its a good idea

thanks...it works for open mics...and since there are 2 people involved there is no need for one person to have more then one link right.

Well then a mod has to check every single battle for the links, all you would have to do is post a link to some random thread.

most people here do tend to follow the rules...I dont really think we'll have a problem...just take 1 vote away for it or some shit...its a good Idea...not fuck up proof but nothing really is. we can either do this or whach a good site go down in flame cuz its missing 1 of its most important feature...voting...

to be honest....we should quit talking about it and make it happend...cuz there a lot of battles just floating around for months with no votes on em that people cant get closed down....

Get a good mod in there and it might work. W/o a good mod it won't work.

then it'll get report it and we worry about it then...otes on this site is as big of a priority as the battles themselves...we can't penalize all for a few...same as when a wak nigga bites some one elses lines and no one knows it till half way through the battle...some one's bound to report it....

If I didn't have to type up an essay of why someone won I would vote more, but people continue to DQ votes if it's against them.

The only thing your idea would result in is people not battling. The activity of battling on this site has slowly slipped downhill for well over a year now. If this idea of leaving a link to a battle voted on to start a battle of your own would be the one final push to send this site to shit.

Face it, most people on this site are lazy fucks.
The voting has gone from decent breakdowns to bar vs. bar voting which always gets DQ'ed if the one battler wants it that way... all because strobe deems it as unexplained voting. So, therefore... nobody votes really anymore. And if your idea was put into play, nobody would battle either.

Sorry, one thing I forgot to say...

Just battle and vote, that is all you can do and hope that eventually someone will drop a vote on one of your battles. You can't force it.

And frankly, the decent voters like myself don't even check EFL or FL anymore because practically every battle is ass. And we don't want to waste our time breaking down some shitty verse just so the person who is not receiving the vote can whine about it like a little bitch.

im sure the person battling them will check if the link is good if u can get one of their votes dq'd by doing it.... if someone can just inform a mod when it happens it wouldn't take a good mod at all.... also i think it should be multiple vote links cuz cats need 5 votes and u can have like 4 battles open at one time that 20 votes needed to close they battles so if u battlin u should be forced to vote alot

dont know bout 5 but Im wit u on the rest...we'r just sitting here like some old ass niggaz in suits trying to pass a bill...we should simply start a thread where people can go in and vote on if they want this or not. we should also give the reasons why its good and why its bad just so they would know the whole story. but we should do it while the site is still alive.

Or you could just forget this idea. And sign up for the LBL if you haven't already.. that way you are guaranteed a battle every week, and one that will receive votes and be closed with a winner and a loser at the end of the week.

Unless of course you are one of those assheads who think their online record means something and they want to up their win count and shit to make them look dope.
