The league is looking rocky, but that doesn't mean it should be abandoned. This is a major rap website and there is no reason a league here can't succeed. I recommend the following course of action

1) PMing old members of this league and asking why they left
2) Setting up a thread encouraging people to specifically throw out new ideas on how to improve the league and differentiate it from others
3) PM people on RB, RM, and other sites, who haven't been in this league before, and try to spark up interest from people who seem reliable and would show.

I'm being serious, I'm curious to see what you think.This has always been a good league ...you got to stick with it through the good and bad times for it to grow. Id go with what DTH was offering before making any big desicions like that. The league is really in my opinion one of the only thing keeping this site active

I've actually got 1 idea already...it seems to me, one of the hardest things about running a league is differentiating it.. i mean you got this league, RB, RM, PBRA, BragginWrites, and prolly some others I'm forgettin' out there that are all pretty similar. So you need something that makes this league the one people focus on.

It also seems another problem is many of the best heads on the net are getting bored with texting.. so something has to be done to keep it entertaining and not just thinking of new wordplay every week.

What if you made every week basically themed like the special event week? For example, one week is concept flipping week, one week is celebrity picture diss week, just something different just about every week. That would make this league really entertaining and differentiate it from all the others.

Actually in my opnion not everyone would want to do this actually alot of people probably wouldnt want to do some of those matches so it would basically be forciing people away from the league rather then gettin it active.. unless you was to have a signup thread each week of what people wanted to do and then the ones that wanted to do the same thing would be matched up agaisnt eachother would battle but then there would be no way do to ranking or anyhting like that if you did it that way... so granted you are having ideas and thats good i just dont think it would workout like that.

because motivation for me in this league hasn't really been there.

it's sorta becoming pointless, too much bullshit, especially after that week you left and cameback.

but my first couple of weeks in this league the motivation was there like it was some pussy involved.

no hate Kemp, but ur break down seemed a bit biased. besides, u said most of my lines were no's yet others didn't think so.

btw, a few of those lines u said were play'd, i checked up on them at a few other sites(RV, RB, PR 'n RM) and couldn't find any matches for the concepts.
