what kind of hardware are you using (mic, soundcard, pre-amp, etc..)
what software are you using to record What vocal mastering / editing process do you use...(what effects are you adding...) .pz. |
oh shit um.....i got a mic.......its alright like 80$ ...don't remember the name.......the software to record is cool edit 2.0......but i also have acid..4.0.......um..heres where i look like a moron.....i don't know what my soundcard or a pre-amp is..=) still would appreciate any help you could give me thanx........

A simple mixdown issue. Either turn up the volume on the instrumental, on turn down the volume on the vocals. Hope that helps.

yeah with your ears, and the fact u DONT know what soundcard u have only means u are using the shitty stock soundcard that came with the computer, meaning u need a new one of those.

M-Audio omni studio or DigiDesign Mbox..both are under $500...both aer soundcards / pre-amps in one.
