Hmmm,i think it's funny how Lil Wayne has 'rap fans' going completly nuts over his music.

His new mixtape: The Drought Is Over (link) has 48,199 Listens
and 6,153 Downloads in one day. Where he also mentions 'Willie Da Squid'

Also he has about half of his mixtapes in the Most Popular (link) section.
I dont 100% dislike the kid. But one reason i do feel is the 'Kobe Bryant' of rap is mainly b/c as much as you try to hate him, you really cant.

To judge his as an artist i'd say he's a 6.5/10. He sorda has inconsistent ways with me,sometimes i feel em, other times i dont. In reality you either hate em or love em. You cant really knock em, he's has fans to buy his music and give him support; and he has haters to promote him.

yeah. i think he dope, hes got some dry spots, but for the most part i think he is real to the game.

Wayne is a great rapper, but until he hits the double platinum category on album sales,i dont think he will be the best rapper alive. the fans and people buying your music is the biggest tool to becoming the best.

Yeah but you gotta see it like this...Now-a-days everyone just downloads shit...I don't know how Curtis was able to go Diamond and sell all them albums but its hard as shit to even go gold in the industry now, thanks to the internet...I just feel that Lil Wayne's era is now and Hov's was before he retired...just like Jordan and Kobe...But I think Wayne's era will be much shorter than Hov's...and Yeah I was listening to Lilweeziana and he bit a line straight from Jay-Z

wayne was wack back in the day but he's nice now. if he has a ghostwriter than his ghostwriter is nice now. i'm not sure if wayne has one or not but all i know is that the music on the albums and mixtapes are hot nomatter who wrote 'em. but i just cant completely give him credit cuz i'm not sure who wrote it.
