What kind of rock do you guys do?

list some band names...i've been listening to a lot of rock lately.

I love me some rap. But it's has to be some real shit.

I like In Flames,Children of Bodom,Sevendust,Soilwork,Bullet for My Valentine,of course Metallica,Ac/Dc,Staind,Disturbed,System of a Down, and the list goes on.

But there is more rap on my playlist. It mostly consits of underground people no one has problay heard of

emmure, jimmy hendrix, rhcp, sum 41, comeback kid, the white stripes, 3eb, and then there were none, the anti-robot movement, placebo, soad, taking back sunday, jimmy eat world, against me, haste the day, refused, kid dynamite, napalm death, rush, nirvana, rage, catch 22, psyopus, modest mouse, harvy dangerfield, incubus, idk theres more, thats a mixed list of rock, alternative, hardcore, punk/ska ect.

I do work with all kinds of music.

I'm the drummer in a rock band that's got a really 70's feel too it. Usually compared to Deep Purple type shit. It's good times, we're not trying to make it big, just doing it for the fuck of it.

I do some solo work, it's more of a mixture between like Tom Petty and Neil Young sounding.

I mean.. I play guitar, bass, drums, harmonica, mandolin, ukulele, and I'm currently working on expanding my skills on the piano and the banjo.

Pink Floyd is my favourite band of all time. I'm actually going to see Roger Waters perform in Winnipeg tomorrow. But some other musicians I really respect are Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan.. I mean the list goes on, but I'm sure you know what I'm getting at.

I might be black but that doesn't mean I don't liek some rock.
