While it wasn't one of his finest, it was still a really good album imo. Nas's worst album is Nastradamus, and I actually liked Nastradamus. Hip hop is dead is probably his second worst album. Brother Ali's shit is some peoples favorite album of that year, but I think Hip Hop is dead was. Hopefully this album could be the one that makes everyone stfu about illmatic already. *sigh*
