you got cats upset cause their pieces don't get checked
like the fat kid on the court! They collapsin' on the floor
tears seepin in their necks and in back of their throats
Their battles are laggin' and slow cause no cats will vote!
Or no cats that they wanted, cause "vets" are actin' funny
On some, "My album drops when my company has the money!"
Knowin' damn well the computer screen is as far as they'll go!
So they act big on the net, keep their feelings lodged below

The first way you can tell a real veteran of letterin'
is that he knows he's better than cats without them registerin'
on the board to say, "You're ill son," or that they feel 'em
"You're iller than that crap that's wacked by penicillin!"
Self-concscious measures, they always embrace their records
and whine and b*tch to get their battles "suade" like leather !

The next way to spot vets is they don't count the time or days
that they've been here, like, "Bitch, I was here in '98!"
It's worse when the cat's rappin sucks and he's actin' tough
B!tch has been here for TEN YEARS and still wack as f*ck!!

Then there are the cats with no lives, allergic to sunlight
call themselves vets cause they post "Hi" nine billion times!!
When few lost thier post, these were the main ones b*tching
Causin' Pen's twitchy trigger finger to start itching!

A vet doesn't care if he loses, this is for amusement
A vet is half-student and does this for the improvement
A vet doesn't ALWAYS lose it if his posts get secluded
He won't make an alias or pop in threads to feel included
A vet is half-teacher, doctors and word professors
teaching lessons by sending wack cats out on a stretcher
or he just does this for fun, between his girl and his job
couldn't give a damn whether or not you think that he's hard!
A vet can act rude or nice, rap sweet or slap dudes
Vets are the nice guys or the sh*t-talkers with attitudes
the one common thread is that they know in their heads
they've been through the flames and it shows in their threads

do you whine alot...or do you spit with assurance
do you rhyme alot .... mostly for reassurance

these are questions you need to ask yourselves to check
to see if you're a newbie, pathetically claimin' vet(I know a few!)


a newbie.... that's a different matter altogether
a newbie stupidly thinks that vets are acting together
voting against them..."You guys are always d*ck riding"
Never considering that they may just SUCK at writing
Droppin' nonsense posts and starin' in light-headed shock
when they REFRESH the page and find fifty threads on top!
Thinkin' they're the center of attention because they're spoiled
like broken freezers, recognition only comes through your toils
sweat and fire, vets get tired of peepin' everything
wanna get noticed, spit something that makes the letters sing
Otherwise, don't think your the sh*t cause you do this in real life
If you're that ill, why did you trade music for still life!?
Stay on that side of the screen, no one gives a damn
if your man knows a man who can't get you a deal...

...maybe...

These babies whining they ain't gettin' the time of day,
from us, while a million other peeps sign on in our place
Do you ask a vet for a favor? Why not ask a newbie next
get together and learn how to avoid misusing texts
that's what we did...I never once asked for help
when I was a starting out,I got everything for myself!!

WHY DON'T YOU PEEP ME!!! Shut up, it was so much harder for me!!
I started beef and ripped bodyparts off peeps with my armory!
I fought my way to the top, why should you ride the escalator!
Lazy ass mega-faker, and you ask why vets are haters?!

These are signs you need to look for when you get pissed
cause maybe all this whining is what's getting you dissed
But don't get mad if you come after me and get ripped badly
It ain't my fault you don't know that I'm a Legend inthe making!

and if you still don't get what separates newbies and vets
you may never know,it comes down to one word: respect...

..I'm still a newbie...I'm just better than 99% of ya'll...I'm sure you'll disagree..go back and read this again and again and again....some people ask me "why do you try so hard to be in Legends" I don't...I try hard to write a good piece,which people will enjoy...(My OM's should be in there though :))
