why is it that wit rock songs its ok ta redo a song and be credited as there own its not like u could do that wit rap cuz thats biting

but it used ta be original back in the day
and it still is underground and wit some mainstream
but rock used ta be original when it first started becoming popular too
then it started ta turn to being all the same shit and
no one liked it anymore because of it now rock is just a faded out fad
so how is rap gonna be any diffrent..its in its unoriginal stage

by re-doing it, do you mean using the same beat, or sampling an old song to make a new beat? or what...
