I need help cuz my record is 0-2 n if im not careful i'l be 0-3 down i need to know how to be a better battler cuz i cant get my head round this

punchlines, metaphors, and wordplay . . . the 3 most important things. Don't talk about yourself, concentrate your verse on ur opponent. If a line isnt a punchline, metaphors, wordplay etc. leave it out cause it is filler and will make your verse weak.

try to make multiple hits on tha same rhyme. if u can keep an "a" rhyme goin an hit 2 or 3 punchlines on it, then ure start winning more. just remeber...punchlines,punchlines,punchlines.

yea u get no hits unless ur punches have accuracy behind them hit hard fast an wit as few words as possible
i know im one to talk but thats how i fuck my verses up too many fuckin words 100..

To correct the confusion...

Punches... Period.

Wordplay and Metaphors should compliment a punch.

A filler is just a line that is not a punch. Period.

Example:

A simple punch...

You're paranoid for thinkin everybody is laughing at you... though

wordplay defeats the purpose of a Rap Battle. This isn't word
battle or whose smarter battle... But a Rap Battle.

No punch... Than there should be no win.

Oh, And flow is also as important as punches. Without flow, The
punches are nothing. Flow is Rap itself... And is a fundamental
