Slate Magazine's Question of the Year 2009
"How would the law punish Siamese twins if one of the twins committed murder without the other being involved?"
I understand conjoined twins are very uncommon in today's day & age, and even more uncommon for them to experience a lifespan long enough for them to commit a murder, but for argument's sake, let's say it is. So, chatverse? How would it? |
Well, the law being what it is and believing it is the 'be all and end all' it would probably just punish them both with jail time. And the one twin would be charged as an accomplice.
They would simply look at the case and suggest that the twin that didn't commit the murder is still responsible because he/she could've prevented such a thing. Unless of course, the murderous twin knocked the other unconscious or drugged them.. then dragged their dead weight around while they committed the act. |
The guys in the shower would be stoked to see 'em.

isnt being a siamese twin punishment enough?
