Sean Gunner 09-08-06 11:20 PM

Hip Hop will never die.

It can't, even if only one person keeps it alive, it's still alive.

exactly.

I love when kids start saying " hip hop sucks, its dead" I raise my bottle to the sky the more people say that, cause thats simply one less trend follower claimin gto be hip hop.

if anythings deads its rap music.

but hip hop music, nah!
Hip hop culture couldnt be anymore alive, kids tend to forget hip hop isnt just the music.

but yeh, RV is too stupid to take time to learn.

K.ontroverz.Y 09-08-06 11:49 PM

Compose 09-08-06 11:54 PM

that jin track is actually called "its alive"

at times i think its dead, but i know thats not true, i just personally think its alive underground, mainstream is dead imo until someone breaks through with a whole new style and shit, last time that happened was eminem and now hes wack so itll probably take another few years for that to happen

rick ross, mike jones, etc. are all wack rappers but still have a big part
in the hip hop industry today it may be rap but..hip hop itself sold out to commercialism just like what ice cube said....when people say hip hops dead
they mean REAL hip hop died...it downsized from a lifestyle to a fad
i seriously believe its gonna fade out if it keeps goin like this

Ysdat 09-08-06 11:57 PM

hip hop is a evolution of creativity, the boundrys are being pushed, but once they are pushed, that old school "boundry" will come back into play and so on.

hip hop cant die.

the white people behind the rappers and commercial rapping. Is the reason for this. by white people i just mean managers. and A & R's ETC. the majority is white so i say that.

But back to the point. its not that hiphop is dead. their just Promoting the HORRIBLE rappers. that are attractive and popular in their community. for lord knows what reasons.

dont blame shit on white people, if black people were in the white peoples shoes they would do the same exact thing for money, people are people and everyone is greedy, diddy is in their shoes, and he does the same shit they're doing, jay-z will eventually do it too

K.ontroverz.Y 09-09-06 12:04 AM

i never blamed white people. I just said that because the majority.

same way when you think of rappers you think of a black person.
You think of a manager. Etc. you think of a white person

way the world is. Stereotyping will exist. And we dont even notice we're doing it at times,

yes but u know how much of the population that
are so mainstream that if it aint mainstream music they wont listen to it?
and if its anything that mainstream people will ride their nutz
like mike jones etc. he didnt make it cuz of fans but cuz of dick riders
the fanbase is like a bunch of kids and the A&R's are toy companys
the rappers is the toys...the companies put commercials on tv 24/7
brainwashing these kids that their shit is the best thing ever ta have
and cuz of that the kids buy it and love it

nobody cares bout the real rappers that dont have record deals
