Running Thru The Dark
 

i walk through the dark, in the pouring rain,
feeling all this excruciating pain,
it endours my body as i begin to run,
who is this man..trying to have fun,
chasing me with a knife and laughing all at once,
he must think this is a game,
i am screaming for my life, and he's yelling my name,
it begins to rain harder, and seems way to dark tonight,
i cannot see where i am going,
not even knowing, if i'm going to live,
he is getting closer and i am running faster, i cannot get away,
today could be my last, as i slowy begin to sway,
i fall to the ground and cannot get up,
he comes forth to me, so abrupt,
"what do you want, what did I do,"
screaming for dear mercey as he laughs,
visions of my life are running so fast,
"its nothing you did, it's what i am,"
he laughs in anguish and looks into my eyes,
just as i think today was my last sunrise,
he says to me, "you are very pretty,"
i am crying in the woods lying on the ground,
his devious smile, then turns to a frown,
i cannot do this, and he turns around,
he takes the knife, it falls to the ground,
he runs away, as i am lying there breathless,
looking to the sky, asking god, "why,"
the sky then turns into the window in my room,
watching myslef sleep, i must be doomed,
panting hard, and trying to catch my breath,
then waking up in a deep sweat,
the worst dream that i ever had,
i never knew they could turn out so bad.
