I use a platonic mic (which is getting thrown of my balcony today)

And Equalizing, i just unchecked the equalizer box in garageband when I edited my Male Basic Vocal...anyways this is the last poor quality verse your going to hear from me, I'm inquiring about a better mic so can from terribly bad to mediocore

yeh but upgrading your mic will only bring your quality up so far

you still need to learn to equalize...start experimenting with cutting and boosting different frequencies...further along the line your ears will start being able to notice these subtle differences in the sounds

Good point about the frequencies.

Usually, bass in a voice is usually not a good thing.

Put your low frequency at minus 2, and your hi frequency at 1, and that would even sound better.

What kind of equipment you using Shiest?
