Questions About Adobe Audition/Cool Edit, Plz Help!!
 

Ok, Firstly, and most importantly, How do i make the tracks into one file? meaning, how do i make the vocals and the Beat show up on the same file so i can have a song saved? i haven't figured it out yet. i have Adobe Audition 1.5, but it's just an upgraded version of cool edit, so if you have cool edit pro, then you can help me out too.. When i download it and go to mix down and save, it only saves my vocals..

Also, how is the best way, to get the best possible quality out of the finished product.. how can i get it to sound sorta professional, atleasy good quality.. it sound kinda wierd, you can tell that i did it from a computer, i mean, it sound nice tho, but is there any edit features, or options that let me up the quality to sound closer to an actual studio project?.. a response will be much appreciated, holla back plz, 1..

Ok So You Should Have Two Blocks, Your Vocals And The Instrumental/Beat. RightClick On An Empty Block. Brings Up The Menu ... Then Click MixDown To Track, Then All Waves. Then Your Done Just Delete The Other Two Blocks/Tracks Vocals/Instrumental. Make Sure You Have Made All the Change To Ya Vocals Coz Ya Can't Do It While Its Mixdown- Fucks Up The Beat. Hope This Has Helped Ya.

Edit: The Quality... What I Do Is: Click On Effects-Noise Reduction-Hiss reduction-High Hiss Reduction. Then Click Ok. Also Click Effects-Noise reduction-Noise Reduction. Set The Noise Reduction Level To 95. Then Click ok. This Should Give You More Of A Pro. You Can Also Use The Filters ....

and about the quality, do you think that part of the fact is due to me not having an actual sound card.. I prolly should buy one huh, would that make a diff?

You should have a sound card, every computer comes with one. It's probably just a shitty one. But about those adlibs.....you gotta do them on a seperate track and adjust the volumes and shit so they aren't overpowering your vocals :thumbup:

WTF, my computer ain't shitty at all, i got a lot of memory, a pentium four, and hella hard drive space, he just said that i had interbnal memory or some shit like that, i don't kmow what it is.. edit:

oh, as a mattee of fact, the guy didn't know what he was saying, i did have a stereo sound card.. but he suggested an upgrade, so i got one.. a creative labs sound card..

I wasn't trying to hate on you or anything.....I think I got a shitty soundcard. I know I got a shitty mic, it was only $8.95 :shocked:

Anyway, when you learn your way around cool edit, you'll learn how to make your voice sound better and you can apply the same things everytime :thumbup:

What do i do with the filters? that shit looks confusing, and how do i make my voice echo a little, how do i get it like D.i games shit.. i've heard a few of his, and it sounds tight..

And How In The Fuck Do I Do My Back Ups/adlids Ya'll?.. I Go Down To The Next Track And Press Record, But Only The Instranental Play, I Wanna Rap Over My Voice..

Man u gotta record them in tha wave mode, and then add them in tha multitrack mode.
