cubase is only ok if you have a full studio... if not get cakewalk pro audio 9. at 1st you will think it sucks till you learn how to use it and once you do you will like it better cauz you can do things faster than the other programs because of user friendlyness and with the right plugins it has the same amout of power as any other program .... other than Pro Tools but that is a pro program only in large studios and should only be used in large studios since the way the program is set up.. ok Peace
