Does anyone know a .wav uploading site....Cuz MP3 Suck Seriously

MP3's Are The Osama bin Ladin Of Audio Waveforms.....Anyone Know aSite that Uploads .Wav?

No for internet downloads mp3 compression is the only way to go.

Wave files most of the time are cd quality and usually roughly 50mb a song.. So good luck trying to find a site willing to allow that kind of bandwidth for you to upload and promote your music.

Mp3's are easy as fuck to make and use and the compression allows for quick and easy transfer. Wtf are you complaining about anyway...

Dude if you're completely serious about uploading a wav file onto a website your only choice is to;

1. Register a .com or similar, that allows approx 100mb worth of bandwidth or more, for approx. $7.95 US
2. Upload your song onto the site
3. wait years and years for someone to even attempt downloading half of your file because it's so huge
4. Find out in ten years time that Mp3 is the only way to go for self promotion.

Sorry dude ... but those are FACTS. Mp3 is the only way to ewasily and confidently promote your music online and via small data discs.
Take it or leave it dude

Thats gay..........

OK, first of all i'd like to correct my spelling mistake (easily not ewasily) and second of all...

I'm sorry that you think statistics can be anywhat homosexual, its the truth and nothing but it.

Dewd, if you have problems with quality on mp3 then get a Mac and use the *acc? file i think it's called ... not too sure.

a well recorded mp3 @ 128kbps sounds just as good as a wav. Even on studio monitors. Obviously a mp3 @ 320 kbps sounds better, and closer to wav quality, but sites like soundclick usually decrease its quality to 128 anyways. But seriously - you gotta strain your ear to hear a difference, cause most of the sound quality difference isn't even audible. word.

^^LoL.

Phenom-in-all was right on the dot ... so use Mp3!

Phenom-in-all 11-24-05 10:40 AM

........... I stand by my original post, GIVEN the original mixdown is mixed as MP3... I know that if you convert a wav to MP3, some convertors are shitty as hell, and will fuck up your sound, cause different convertors will minimize different parts of your audio file. BUT, in cool edit you can mix down and save as MP3 original, as you can with beats from Fruity Loops, and other beat programs... So if I'm doing something and wanting to post it on the net, I will export it, or save it as MP3 directly, rather than save it as wav and convert it. However - If I'm selling someone a beat, I usually export is as a wav, and burn it to a disc. word.

retracting my post once again.... I've found that mixing mp3's @ 192 is the pinnacle option, as you lose some bass frequencies @ 320. 192 is the closest you'll get to cd quality using mp3. AND, I've also noticed that some sites will allow you to upload your track @ 192 as long as it doesn't go over the 10MB size allotment(sp?). Word to your mothers.
