Alphabetised vs one way

One of the better battles of the week with one way dropping an original take on your topic and brought it to life with consistently strong vocab and a great rhyme scheme which rarely seemed forced while Alphabetised brought a dope rhyme scheme laced with strong vocab to a drug type topic. one way took this with his stronger use of imagery and a more original topic. Good battle.

Johnny 6-feet vs Fuck Yuu

The voters in this battle said that Johnny brought strong creativity and story telling style to his horror story piece while fuck yuu brought good imagery and a dope depiction of society in his piece. Voters felt Johnny took the win for a better story and use of imagery.

Jonathon vs Mr.Write

Jonathon picks up another no-show win this week with a verse laced with strong telling elements and original thoughts. Like i said about his battle last week it's a damn shame to see a solid verse wasted on a no-show competitor.

Nâ€-Tvs Civil

A controversial battle this week with Civil being penalised for 3 votes. Civil brought a multi-laced introspecive piece, with solid imagery and vocab and a smooth flow while NT told a great story complete with character development. Although the battle ended 2-1 in Civil's favour he was docked 3 votes for swaying by jonathon. End result was a win for NT.

JTR vs boberric_lyrics

More controversy! JTR was hit with a disqualification this week for leaving no links in his check in post. JTR wrote a good piece with plenty of strong imagery and forward mometum, linking his narrator charecter to his friend well while Bob told a nice mad scientist type piece, again, with strong vocab and imagery to tie it together. Votes ended 2-1 in favour of JTR but his DQ means bob takes the win.

Burden. vs In-Vision

In Vision no-showed, Burden just checked in and took the win.

MONKEY BARZ vs LL Cool K

Cool K (Mick Fletcher) gets the win for checking in, MONKEY no-showed.

Coke Dealer vs Finland.

Coke Dealer picks up the win on a check-in as Finland. no shows

shanmailer7 vs Got Soul?

Both got booted for being too lazy to even make a check-in.

MurDaH187 vs CARLA'S PIMP

MurDaH187 picks up a win for checking in while Carla's Pimp no-shows.

Week 3 Match Predictions

Jonathon (2-0) vs boberric_lyrics (2-0) (Champ Match)

Tough call this week, jonathon so far has been unopposed in this competition while bob is coming off a DQ win. Based on what i saw from both of them i'd probably say jonathon was gonna win with his stronger creativity and reader friendly style.

Nâ€-T (2-0) vs JTR (1-1) (Contender Match)

JTR has a great imagery based style to paint a picture in a reader's head while Nâ€-T has a good storytelling style, although some say his structure fucks that up. I'd predict JTR to take this as a stronger topical writer overall.

Johnny 6-feet (1-0) vs MurDaH187 (1-0) vs Burden (1-0)

Draw your own conclusions.

Civil. (1-1) vs Coke Dealer (1-1)

I think Civil'll win this, he has a knack for creative concepts and illustraiting them. Coke IMO is still learning as a topical head, his imagery isn't as well developed as Civil's which puts him at a disadventage.

Mr.Write (1-1) vs LL Cool K (1-1)

My prediction goes to Mr Write if only for the reason that he's displayed all the requirements of a decent topical piece and is an experienced writer while i haven't seen LL drop a verse yet.

Alphabetized (1-1) vs Fuck Yuu (0-1)

Tough call, both have shown a strong mastery of vocab and both were in good battles last week (**coughs, scratches nuts**). Alpha has the stronger flow and rhyme scheme schemes, Yuu has the stronger metaphors. Ehh, i dunno really, i think Alpha MIGHT edge it. Should be a dope battle.

CARLA'S PIMP (0-1) vs one way (0-2)

Hard to call since Carla hasn't dropped a verse in this competition. one way has a dope style which his record doesn't accurately reflect, he had originality, strong rhymes and good vocab. I'd predict oneway but who knows? Carla's Pimp might be amazing and hasn't shown it yet.

Implicit (0-0) vs MONKEY BARZ (0-2)

MONKEY's style is multi-heavy and poorly structured IMO, not really the topical style this competition requires. On the other hand Implicit is a newcomer to the league and since i can't find the fuckers posts anywhere so i can look up his work and judge him i've got no idea how this one is gonna go.
