old hip hop were lyrics didnt really matter as much and you could just flow with such basic that you were conscidered dope no matter what unlike now and days where you gotta have a nice punchline in your verse or multie to be conscidered hot!

and im talkin like at least 15 years ago

and as for the punchline/multie thing man the level of dope has been raised over the course of time which is why a lot of US hiphop sounds garbage to us

idk y crunk shud be so so cricised,i mean thats mainly all u hear in clubs these days that get u moving and besides the meaningless lyrics its still tight mayne!..and u cant mix crunk for hip hop ..they r two different things imo!
