Digiscratch... Good thing or bad?
 

My boy DJ's at most of the larger clubs in my city, and he's had digiscratch for a while now and is LOVIN it. I agree - but some cats hate cause it's basically scratchin whatever mp3's you have on your laptop, on two regular record decks. I think it's illy cause anything I can download - dude can scratch the hell out of, and it totally cancels having to buy a million records... But obviously this will do the same to the record industry as it is doin to the cd industry. Meh - I'm still for it. Any other opinions?

at least your boy is still using a gold old pair of decks...but i hate these kids who come up with there cdj's and try an immitate scratching...but im actually a fan of digi-sctach or rane mx...because its not a wack ass pre-recorded scratch sound....it actually does and emmulates everything real records can do (it knows the pitch,speed, time, everything, so the cuts and scrathes will sound real)...without the hassel of carrying all your vynil around...theres only a few downsides to rane/digi compared to traditional vynil...but its still pretty damn cool...

im saving up for rane or digi, but im broke beause i just bought a new car...but yea just dont show up to the dmc championship with a digi-scratch lol
