audio technia at 2020 or samson co1u?

uhh my voice is more mid high i think....from some reviews ive heard the audio technia is better but i trust what most yall say so gettin some opinions

and if you got any other suggestions lay em out there

I don't know shit about an AT2020, but I DO know the C01U's sound quality isn't anytihng close to professional.

I'd say get the C01U if you are looking for a good quality affordable mic that you are willing to part with when you are at the level of putting out CDs and Demos and shit. The C01U is a good mic to fuck around with when you are just doing that....fucking around. When you are ready to get serious, I'd suggest buying a more higher end mic. I haven't heard anything about the AT2020 either so I can't help you out on that. I'd just go with my gut instinct if I were you :thumbup:™

I belive he uses a very expensive tube mic but idk?

but anyways..........I had the Audio Technica it was striaght..its like a mediocer mic its better then the Samson tho..

lol nah, I just have a more realistic view its capabilities. you know, for a lot of people it's their first higher-qual mic so it sounds remarkable, like all mics do whe you first step it up a notch. but through listneing to so many mics, I can immediately hear the c01u's weakness

The sound quality!! it sounds digitized as fuck, which makes it GREAT for use if you're making something you have no intentions of going pro with.

if you plan on making music that you want industry heads to listen to, the C01U is NOT the one. it doesn't put out an industry quality, cuttable, aka "radio-ready" sound. hell there's character in your voice that it can't evne pick up!

I respect it for what it is, and uhh..that's about it

the c01u is 16 bit son. Saying that it has "the best quality" is like saying Genesis has better sound than Xbox

if it does lmao, you might wanna cash in the clock radio speakers and step up to some REAL gear.
