Do you remember that first day Do you remember not finding the words to say Do you remember when you came to God Do you remember proclaiming His love abroad Do you remember back when everything was goin wrong Every day just seemed to get worse, it didn’t take long Bein tossed about forced to move in thousands of directions Couldn’t rely on anyone, so you said, for your own protection Life’s troubles were breakin you down and continued to win Goin against everything and kept allowing yourself to sin After awhile someone you didn’t know just came up and said “You know where you’re goin after you’re dead?” Puzzled, you ask him what he means and he grins and begins to read Tellin of a God, loving and kind, that gave His life and Who you need Then a tear came to your eye, overwhelmed you sat there and began to cry You lifted up your voice to the sky, and proclaimed Christ as Most High [sing] Do you remember that first day Do you remember not finding the words to say Do you remember when you came to God Do you remember proclaiming His love abroad Then I saw you walkin a different life than you once were But then something happened and if all became a blur One lil trip and you stumbled off the narrow path Then fell deeper into sin not knowing how long it would last Started goin back to the old ways, not caring about anything Got into some scandals and started to wear a lot of bling I see you walk by the church with a troubled look on your face Knowing that you have fallen from God’s loving grace I walk out to see you and ask where you’ve been The look on your face told me living a life full of sin Then a tear came to your eye, overwhelmed you sat there and began to cry I ask you “Remember that day when you announced Christ as Most High?” [sing] Do you remember that first day Do you remember not finding the words to say Do you remember when you came to God Do you remember proclaiming His love abroad Remember that day as long as you live Keep it in your heart and love freely give Show everyone what its like to follow the path of Jesus And maybe they will come and be with the rest of us [sing] Do you remember that first day Do you remember not finding the words to say Do you remember when you came to God Do you remember proclaiming His love abroad http://community.rapverse.com/showt...d=1#post2504528 http://community.rapverse.com/showt...d=1#post2504580 |
very good piece, true, and a good read...keep it up 9/10

this was actually well put together but it was way too simplistic and basic,the storyline was mad played,not much of a strong vocabulary,the only thing i can really say that was good was the emotion you had strong emotion....anyways decent iguess 4/10
