Glitch in Name Change?
 

Everytime I try to PM people who have changed their name, it says they're not available.

Same when you try to type their name in the 'Statistics' shit.

I think I've fixed the PM problem, but for people who had changed their name before the fix, they'll need to change their names again to fix it.


For the battle statistics, in theory it should work since it does a query first to get their userid before pulling up their battle records. Which name isn't working? If the name has weird characters in it, that might be why it isn't working.

Yeah, for him it has to do with the ' in the name. The database doesn't like the apostrophes in the queries so it needs a \ added before it, which is probably why it can't find his name. I'll look into seeing if it can be fixed.

Does blacklist still work?

I don't see why it wouldn't. .

If you put someone's name into the blacklist and hit the update button and their name appears in the list after the page loads, then they are blacklisted. We use the userid's for blacklisting, which are never changed for that account even if they change their name.
