behringer owns.. fuck what people tell you.. i got a ultragain mic100.. and my quality is much better then 80% of the site. but that has to do with the mixing also.

^the problem with behringer is that u could buy 2 of the same exact mics and one could be a beast but the other one could be a peice of shit. They dont use reliable parts in their equipment, which will also cause a good sounding mic to break after awhile. Also, unless you have good monitors, you dont know how your mic really sounds. And with a decent mic and preamp, you shouldn't have to do a whole lot of mixing.

good mixers come with preamps.. but wat the fuck would you need a mixer for when you most likely gonna be pc based.. get a got damn mic and preamp. very simple.. i got my shit from zzsound.com its not brain surgery.
