Life use to be easy on the block, just flowin and rhymin, keepin it on the grind,

money is a powerful thing, a tower of sin...
that makes a woman do the most absurd, preposterous things....
the power it brings, to those which are it's beholder...
makes them disregard the angel that pop's onto their shoulder...
it takes the heat from a warm heart and makes it into ice...
and makes a person disregard the greatest things in life...
it's a shame that a person with a gun, could make ya whole world twist...
and how a car accident could bring numerous blades to my wrists....
but it also brought words to my lips, cause I spit to ease pain produced by the shit...
I'm loosing my grip, engulfed in the blasphemy...
only 19 years of age, afraid that people tryna blast at me...
robbing me, for the money they need to survive, cause they can't get job...
unworthy in society's eyes, so they did time...
doesn't make them less of a person, the reality of it all probably hurts them...
have to feed their family, so their out pushing rocks or robbing a person....
they don't want to but it has to be done, to put food on the table for a hungry daughter or son....
so when I open my wallet and it's empty, I just wanna scream...
cause I know, CREAM get the money's the American dream....
