behind him, a wooden house stands broken in pieces
the grey paint has fallen, representing the loss of hope
on the porch, 3 fellas are shooting dice
throwing dollar bills that they just earned selling crack
they look over their left shoulder and see their neighbors
being pushed out of their house with an eviction notice
another family falling in the hands of the projects
their mission was to survive but they have fallen
all of a sudden, music starts playing
down the street, 5 cars are coming
tinted windows, profanity spraying from the speakers
glocks are raised, they stare, lookin for their prey
they see a young man dressed in red
take off the safety and off with his head
blood everywhere, not a pleasant sight
these are just a few things that happen in the ghetto.
