Thoughts?

This world is similar to the Matrix, no doubt about that. I don't really think it's in such a literal way though. It's interesting to think about stuff like that, but it's just as unlikely as it is likely.

The first thing that popped into my head when I read that was "sif." As if in 50 years there will be a computer that can simulate the world/universe. Even in 100 or 200 years it seems kind of far fetched. Think about everything they would have to simulate... Every nerve, every sense, every animal's senses, everything that's going on with the weather, every single little bacteria, every single fish in the ocean, everybody on earth's thoughts and ideas... This simulation, if it is one, isn't just physical. It's not like we are only models... There is so much more in the world. Not to mention the universe.

Perhaps installing human models into the video game?

Violating human rights.

Though other countries would do it if we're not united by the approximated time :P (would say jk but I kinda wanna see the world as 1 instead of many)

anyway, there is one premature flaw in the belatedly reported discovery:

We will never know all of the hidden wonders of the Universe, hence the existence of the term "Hidden Wonders". And if we do, ..... will it matter? lol. Wouldn't we just try to take over God if we knew what everything REALLY was? Afterall.. knowledge is power.. So therefore..

You cannot simulate a perfect Universe such as ours without it being almost perfectly identical to the matrix and even that is not the natural scheme of things.

To put real life simulation in a box is not realistic graphics but realistically possible ONLY by having a miniature everything already in the box for a viewable Eye. Will we have microscopes strong enough to view everything in the Universe?

Will we truly care about the Universe on a terms of anything?

Being a man's play thing... Is it more like being 1 of every child's toy for a year until they grow older in school and junk them?

Do we feel abandoned and the need to search for a truth because we feel our owner has left us in the back of the closet to mold away with other spiders?

I think not.

And that's a loophole. Trash this silly matrix shit. You're saying Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is real if we simulate feelings.

Where's Keano Reeves?

too much time to think.

most interesting thing i've read in a while.

it's actually, a pretty reasonable argument....it really is..i'll post more in-depth thoughts later.

There's far subtler allusions and clues in The Matrix than the obvious biblical ones.

Fuck yeah @ turning human babies into a source for power though...

Think of the possibilitys.....
