Toronto
Slums - 100,000 Suburbia - 250,000 City (Metro Toronto, downtown by harbor and the distillery district) - 350,000+ note: most establishments being sold nowadays downtown are lofts and condominiums |
im not gonna get into all that city business, cuz i know some of you fuckers on here wanna get next to the kid..but where i live.
slum: there are no "slum" houses here. there's apartments there. Middle class: get a house for about 270,000 to start, somewhere low end uppermiddle class: prolly peak out at about 480,000. 550 at a stretch. |
Slums: ehhh....60k
Middle Class: 130k Nice Shit: as much money as you got...most of the new/nice shit is you building your dream house... |
480 grand?
That's an average house around here... If you want something "nice", you're gonna shell out 600,000+ I used to like certain houses around here ant thought they were impressive. Then, I realized, these houses are small! 1 |
Damn....Toronto, DC...
they really fuckin yall over.....600,000+? damn Q.....they breaking the bank for real |
Midtown/VA Highlands Atlanta - $350k-550k will probably get you an older style bungalow. They look tiny from the outside. No garage, maybe a carport.
Suburbs - Outside the perimeter / 285 loop. 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 garages, mostly homes built in the 80s, start at $130k. Larger 4500 sq ft houses with 3 garages should be around $500k in the Lawrenceville/Duluth area near the Mall of Georgia. If you go inside the perimeter, it's about double what a similar house costs outside. Basically the farther you head out, the cheaper the prices. Upper Class - You can live next to Braves and Falcons players at the Sugarloaf Country Club starting at $1 million and up. Lower Class - Would living out in the middle of Georgia with the rednecks be considered lower class? With home prices starting to cool off, I'm starting to think about buying a house but not really sure if I want to live way out in the suburbs with families all around or intown with the younger crowd. |
Yeh i live in oakville.. houses are expensive as hell in areas.... but they're also NICE as hell...
most houses are around 250k - 450k... the house im in right now is valued at 550k... and its in just a residential neighbourhood.... The houses downtown are a hell of a lot more expensive, cheapest on the block was 990k, most expensive house i've seen was 1.6million it backs onto the lake.... ans is pretty much a mansion. My moms friends are building a 2.6 million dollar mansion that backs on to the lake... .the most common thing to do around here near the lake is to buy a house and tear it down to build your own..... 2.6 includes furnishings i think, because it seems hella high, but the guy is the ceo of home depot... |
