so my baby got babies/two daughters,i ponder if we can raise a son/like a break in the shade i see these rays of sun/hope i thought lost i reclaim at once/and to think i was on the brink of becoming just a lazy drunk.....

this was not a poem,it is a rap and the mod should place it in the open mic forum.the purpose of a poem is to allow you to expand on a topic better and to create a better picture without being trapped within a certain flow to a beat.as a rap it is ok and has a nice bounce flow to it as a comercial song.
